Busy Busy Busyyyy..Busyyy

Hey y'all!! Sing that title to the tune of The Apprentice theme song hahah.  I have been working every single day and the past two days I've been working doubles. I love it!! Our internet has also been broken and we need to buy a router so my posting may be lacking until we get a wireless router because being plugged in is inconvenient! I just wanted to write a quick post saying I will be writing more often again and I'm excited to catch up what's been going on in everyone's lives. I feel like since this move I've been a horrible blogger and bloggy friend. Mainly because I have. BUT when we get this router I will be back to 100% my bloggy self :)


PS. ONE MONTH UNTIL I GET TO GO HOME & SEE MY FAMILY and FRIENDS!!!

I PASSEDDDD

I passed both of the Cheesecake Factory tests this morning with flying colors!! 




Letting that sink in :) I start work tomorrow morning and I am so so so excited! I'm also exhausted from all the training and have been trying to catch up on my reading that I missed. I'm about halfway done and will continue reading them probably tonight!! Hubs took me to see Toy Story 3 as a congrats date and it was such a good movie. I obviously cried towards the end because well, why wouldn't I??

Total Eclipse of the Heart :)

What up y'all?! Happy Tuesday! I don't have too much to write about and I definitely don't have any pictures, so I don't want to bore you with all text. Saturday late morning/early afternoon, I went to lunch and the movies (Eclipse, what what?!) with my friend Leslie.  The place we went to lunch was really good! We had deviled eggs as an appetizer, a side of mac and cheese & we split a philly cheese steak!! Mmmm!! The movie was absolutely amazing; it was definitely the best of the 3 so far. Way better than New Moon (which was my least favorite book, so it translated to my least favorite movie).  It was way better done (effects and what not) than the first two.


I also started training at The Cheesecake Factory on Monday and I think I will be training for the rest of this week and then next week (yikes!! so much training). I also have to pass like a 100 question quiz and a 200 question test!  Not a huge fan of the uniform or whatever it's called. White pants, white shoes, white long sleeve shirt and a tie. NOT flattering whatsoever. So I'm still looking for full-time work, but this will help me meet people (friends to hang with yay!!) and make money while I look for something else. I don't mind working two jobs because being busy is way better than being bored!

Getting To Know You

Happy 4th of July everyone :) Hope y'all are having/have a fabulous day :) It's Sunday and time for Keely's Getting To Know You Sunday over at her blog MannLand5. Head on over and link up to play along!!

The questions..

1. What do you look forward to the most on the 4th of July? Back home, Hubs and I would go to the Plymouth beach on the 3rd of July and we would watch fireworks and sit by huge huge huge bonfires (like 8 feet high). We would have some beers, snacks and play games and relax.  Then on the 4th, we would just hang out with my family.  This 4th of July..we're sitting around our house just spending time together. I love that.

2. Are you a hugger? Yes and no. I love hugging my husband, family and dog.  Only a few friends I can hug and not feel uncomfortable!

3. What is your favorite BBQ'd food? I love any and all BBQ food! I love BBQs and all of the food is amazing :) 

4. Do you like to watch parades? Nope. I get bored. The only parade I like to watch is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade on tv. 

5. Who has stinkier farts..boys or girls? I would say boys, but I know some girls that have pretty stinky ones!

6. Vampires or Werewolves? Team Edward

7. Do you read your horoscope? Nope, but maybe I should start. 

8. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Bubble gum or Cotton Candy :) yeah, I'm 5 years old. haha

Venom and Song Book Review

When I signed up for booksneeze.com I was super excited to get a book and do a review.  The book I found was Venom and Song by Wayne Thomas Batson and Christopher Hopper.

It was the second book in the young adult series "The Berinfell Prophecies", and that might have been my mistake.  There was a character list in the beginning and a list of principle locations, but I was still confused.  The plot was creative and was perfect for the fantasy genre.  However, I couldn't get into it because of the confusion of characters and minor grammatical errors (comma splices and superfluous word choices).  I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone who thinks it will be like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter (like I did), but I think if your young teen likes fantasy then this is a good series for them. Just make sure to start with the first book in the series!! I would give this book 3 stars out of 5.

:) Have a good weekend

I start training on Monday! So excited :) I've been sitting in bed pretty much all day and watching Sex and the City on DVD. Right now I am on season 3.  Tomorrow I'm going with one of my sorority sisters to have lunch and see Eclipse and I am so so so excited!  It's supposed to be super rainy all week...it's pouring and there is no sign of stopping. Thanks Hurricane Alex. At least it went down to a tropical storm and it's just a ton of rain.  Hubs and I went grocery shopping and got soaked from our head to our toes..we were dripping and shivering! I hope y'all have a good weekend :)

Oh also. This is my gorgeous SIL. She was supposed to have my niece/nephew on June 30th. Baby P. is still not here and I want to see it's beautiful face & also know if it's a boy or a girl. They kept changing the names, so I totally want to know that!  Hopefully will get a text message any day now saying she's in labor and get a picture of my little nugget niece/nephew!!
